Like I just said before, SHITTY, I can't remember my life because things just keep passing by me.
So here's the deal; It's the end of June, so I'm almost 2 months into my summer. What can I tell you has happened:
- Ritual is now open on Mondays and they have these buckets that remind me of when I was a child making sand castles on the beach (or every summer when I'm working at my kick ass camp);
- Sundays are amazing in Ottawa - The Standard is a great place to start the night and babylon is the greatest place to end it. Or my room, depending on how the night goes.
- I really like bike rides. Great exercise and it's just sweet considering I live between the Ottawa river and the Rideau canal. I have been biking to the beach also; so great, nice weather, some water to swim in and a beach to sleep on while people attempt to match my skin tone.
- Jeopardy brings people together. Getting together with friends has been a given every night now since we all watch jeopardy together monday to friday at 630. I have been killing it! I haven't lost in a while, and it makes me feel good, but at the same point, I'm realizing I know a whole lot of useless nonsense. Either way, some people think they're amazing at it and when i beat them it makes me happy :)
- Cherish your friendships - My friend Emily is becoming a big girl and getting a full time job... in Toronto :S. I spent this last week hanging out with her so that i don't end up missing her too much, but it's making it worst. We only drank once in those hang outs. All the other times, the tv's off and we're just talking and it's great. The thing that makes it suck is I end up noticing that there's a great person who I had as a great friend for 3 years and I never acted on it, and now it's too late. SUCKS!
Therefor, I'm making sure I enjoy everything and everyone thoroughly and never make this mistake again. i will keep myself posted. :D
I end this with my favorite quote, which is so appropriate right now:
Life goes by fast, if you don't take a second to stop and look around, it may just pass you by."
